These pipe box curbs are often used where multiple pipes or larger pipe are coming through the roof an it is not possible or practical to use the PP-1 or PP-4 pipe penetration assemblies.

The TYPE M  Pipe Box Curb consist of a roof curb compatible with the roofing system that has a separate top section consisting of a removable overhanging insulated metal top and 5 ½” tall insulated metal sides. The pipes come up inside the curb and exit out through field cut holes in the insulated metal side.

The TYPE W Pipe Box Curb consist of a roof curb compatible with the roofing system that has a separate top section consisting of a removable overhanging insulated metal top and a nominal 2” x 6” wood nailer securely fastened on edge to the top of the roof curb. The pipes come up the inside of the curb and exits out though field cut holes in the wood nailer.

These separate top sections can be added to any model roof curb and offers just another solution to the pipe penetration requirements needed on most projects.
