The AGV Series standard gravity ventilator hoods are constructed of 16 gauge (.052) mill finish aluminum sheets cross-broken and assembled using standing seam joints. The hoods are also internally reinforced using aluminum channels and structural angles for added strength and rigidity. The throat and curb cap are constructed using 14 gauge (.064) mill finish aluminum sheets utilizing mitered corners and fully welded seams for water tightness. A ½” x ½” mesh 19 gauge square mesh galvanized steel welded wire bird screen is attached to the full hood perimeter.

The fully protected 360-degree perimeter design delivers reliable airflow at maximum allowable capacities. Four standard hood to throat ratio’s are available to provide improved performance and low airflow resistance for use as exhaust/relief vents or fresh air intakes. The Model AGV-100 has a hood to throat ratio of 1 to 1 and is ideal for most exhaust or relief applications.

The Model AGV-150 has a hood to throat ratio of 1to 1:50 and can be used as an exhaust / relief vent or as an intake ventilator.

The Model AGV-175 has a hood to throat ratio of 1 to 1:75 and can be used as an exhaust / relief vent or as an intake ventilator.

The Model AGV-200 has a hood to throat ration of 1 to 2:00 and is used primarily for intake applications.

Fully insulated hoods, anti-condensate coatings, aluminum bird screens, insect screens, hinged hoods (up to a max. 60” x 60” throat), 1” or 2” filter racks (with or with-out filters) and decorative-protective coatings are just a few of the accessories that are available.
