Creative Metals standard curb adapters and curb extensions are factory fabricated from fully welded 18 ga. (.050) galvalume steel and have mitered corners. Curb adapters are non-insulated and have a standard height of 6”. Curb extensions are fully insulated with 1-1/2” thick 3 lb. density fiberglass insulation and a standard height of 12”.

MODEL  RCA-I is an increasing adapter is used on an existing roof curb to adapt it to a fan or other equipment requiring a larger curb cap base.

MODEL  RCA-D is a decreasing adapter is used on an existing roof curb to adapt it to a fan or other equipment requiring a smaller curb cap base.

MODEL  CES is an extension used to extend the height of new or existing roof curbs in order to meet codes or to add a variety of accessories.

Note: When sizing any adapter / extension it is important that all dimension be the “exact sizes” that are required. When used on conventional curbs the bottom dimensions must be increased by 1-1/2” to allow for the roofing felts. For use on metal building roof curbs the bottom dimensions need be increased by only ¾”. The top of the adapter / extension needs to be sized ¾” smaller than the curb cap of the fan or equipment being placed.
