BALANCING DAMPERS
The following Lite Duty Single Blade Balancing Dampers are for use in low velocity branch duct systems to help balance the airflow. They not intended for complete shut off and do not have any frame or blade seals.
The Model EGS has a 2” x 18 gauge galvanized steel frame, a 22 gauge double crimped blade with a ¼” x 2” square plated control shaft and a plated locking hand quadrant. The minimum size is 4” x 4” and the maximum size is 36” x 12”.
The Model EGR has a rolled formed 5” x 24 gauge galvanized steel frame, a 20 gauge single round blade with ¼” x 2” square plated control shaft and a plated locking hand quadrant. The minimum size is 4” diameter and the maximum size is a 20” diameter.
The Model RCD has a 3” x 12 gauge galvanized steel rolled frame, a 14 gauge galvanized steel single crimped blade with a 6” long x ½” diameter control shaft and nylon bearings. An optional manual hand quadrant or actuator is available to operate the RCD damper. The minimum size is 6” diameter and the maximum size is a 36” diameter.
