Control Dampers
Leader Dampers & Louvers offers a wide range of blade styles and shapes for manual or automatic actuation. Single, parallel and opposed blade styles are available in round, square and rectangular shaped dampers.
Blade materials may be specified as triple crimped galvanized steel or airfoil shaped aluminum or galvanized steel.
From light balancing through rugged full Shut-off designs, our low profile frame provides maximum free area with concealed in-frame blade linkage. If automated, actuation is controlled either electrically (24VAC or 120VAC) or pneumatically. Multi-sectioned damper sizes are virtually unlimited.
The D Series air control dampers are constructed using galvanized steel roll formed low profile frame and triple-crimped steel blades.
The AD Series control dampers utilize a dual skin airfoil shaped blade design to provide improved airflow performance. For the best air flow performance available, the AP/AO Series control dampers are constructed using an extruded aluminum airfoil shaped blade and a low profile roll-formed galvanized steel frame. Positive blade to Axel locks and concealed blade linkages are some of the commercial air control damper features.
The DR-4 Series single blade round control damper is a medium duty damper available in sizes from 6" round through 36" round.
The M Series is constructed of the same gauges as the D Series Commercial Dampers but is designed for balancing only applications where full shut-off is not required.

Leader Dampers & Louvers has a wide selection of manual balancing dampers to meet various requirements.
The E Series Utilizes light gauge galvanized steel and is a quality-built alternative to contractor supplied dampers at an economical cost.
The B Series uses slightly heavier gauges of galvanized steel For applications where a light manual balancing damper is not practical.

Leader Dampers & Louvers' model CP-2 counter-balanced dampers are constructed using 16 gauge roll formed steel frame and 14 gauge triple crimped aluminum blades. The BDA Series backdraft dampers are constructed of 6063-T5 extruded aluminum alloy. This all-aluminum frame and blade unit can be used for either intake or exhaust applications. An optional counterbalance feature is available to assist or retard blade operations. The model BDF utilizes neoprene coated fabric blades as a cost effective alternative to all-metal construction. |
